Club members gathered the 3rd Saturday of September for a lunch to share experiences, good times, and each other's company. The lunch gathering was held at the Backyard Bistro located in Pipe Creek.
Pike Creek is situated on State Highway 16 between Bandera and IH 10. The Bistro is the #1 restaurant in Pipe Creek with a Trip Adviser rating of 4½ stars. The menu and food are prepared by Aaron Gonzalez, a Neiman Marcus trained Executive Chef whose cuisine uses the freshest herbs and produce from the exquisite farm-to-table Country Accents Antiques' own gardens located adjacent to the restaurant. The menu is American with options for those who may prefer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free meals. Food was good and the comradery even better.
