An annual photo op of Club members was held New Years Day in rustic Luckenbach, “where everybody is somebody.” This year was one of the largest in recent memory with over 35 folks taking part in the shoot which took place at noon. The weather cooperated as the day was filled with sunshine and pleasant temperatures. There didn’t appear to be any bands playing at the time, however Luckenbach claims there’s music at the venue 365 days a year. It may only be some guy playing a guitar or a famous country singer.
Stated years ago, by Club member Chuck Wetzel, this has been an annual event to not only capture the photogenic faces of Club members, but also a way to get together at the beginning of the year to wish each other a Happy New Year.
