On May 7th, SA BMW RA Secretary Gene Huegin hosted a tech session on how to do routine fluid changes on his 2013 R 1200 RT. With the help of a few other experienced club members, Gene demonstrated how easy it is to change out the transmission and final drive gear oil, as well as the front and rear brake fluids.
We started the session at 9:30 and finished by 12:00 noon, including “donuts and coffee” time. Other members attending the tech session included Tom Wilmotte, Treasurer Mike Makowski, Vice President Graham Littrell, Newsletter Editor Dave Hoover, Tracy Spring, Jerry Fuentes, and John Lee.
